Speaking about his journey, Mulei expressed the difficulties he faced in finding a job after his internship at Makueni County Assembly. Following years of unsuccessful job applications and interviews, he decided to venture into the boda boda (bike riding) industry. However, as his prospects dimmed, he shifted his focus to joining the police force, a journey filled with relentless attempts.
Mulei's perseverance paid off on March 24, 2022, when he successfully qualified during a police recruitment drive. Despite holding a degree, he emphasized that the transition into the police force hasn't accelerated his career as he hoped. Now, Mulei is determined to secure a position in the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), where he believes his skills and experience will be highly valuable.

The viral moment occurred when Mulei, stationed at the Njiru Police Post, noticed a KCSE candidate looking distressed on the morning of her final exam. Sensing her predicament, he offered to care for her child while she took the exam, ensuring she could focus without stress.
