Khalifa Isyaku Rabiu University, Kano (KHAIRUN), in collaboration with the National Library of Nigeria, successfully held the 2024 Annual Readership Promotion Campaign on October 24, 2024. The event was themed “Reading as Barriers Breakers and Excellence Propeller:

In his remarks, Professor Abdulrashid Garba, KHAIRUN’s Vice-Chancellor and chairman of the occasion, highlighted the importance of modernizing libraries and equipping them with the necessary resources to promote academic excellence and a vibrant reading culture, especially among young people.
