The management of Khalifa Isyaku Rabiu University, Kano (KHAIRUN), led by Vice-Chancellor Prof. Abdulrashid Garba, paid a courtesy visit to the Kano State Commissioner of Police, CP Salman Dogo Garba.
During the visit, Prof. Garba expressed the university’s appreciation for the efforts of the Kano State Police Command in combating crime and maintaining peace within the community. He noted that as KHAIRUN prepares to enroll its second set of students, it seeks continued support from the police to ensure a safe and conducive learning environment.
CP Salman Dogo Garba, in response, assured the university of the Kano Police Command’s unwavering commitment to supporting the institution. He emphasized that assisting KHAIRUN is a way of honoring the legacy of the late Khalifa Isyaku Rabiu, who made significant contributions to the community. He also affirmed the readiness of the police to collaborate with the university on security matters, assuring that the command’s doors remain open for further cooperation.
