Kogi State Polytechnic Releases 2025/2026 Academic Calendar

The Academic Board of Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja, at its emergency meeting held on Monday, 4th September 2025, approved the Academic Calendar for the 2025/2026 academic session.

According to the calendar released by the Office of the Director of Academic Planning, resumption for both new and returning students (except those currently on SIWES) has been scheduled for Monday, 15th September 2025. Students on SIWES will resume on Monday, 8th December 2025.

Registration will commence on 15th September 2025 and close on 10th October 2025. Late registration, which attracts a penalty fee of ₦5,000, will run from 13th to 17th October 2025.

Orientation and matriculation ceremonies for newly admitted students are scheduled to hold between 27th and 29th October 2025.

The Rector, on behalf of the Management and Academic Board, wished all students safe travels back to campus as the new session begins.
