The Vice Chancellor of Kogi State University, Kabba, Professor K.I.T. Eniola, has announced that the federal government, through the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND), has completed fee payments for 101 students. This significant development is expected to ease the financial burden on students, parents, and sponsors.

Professor Eniola praised the NELFUND initiative, emphasizing its importance in supporting students' educational pursuits and encouraging beneficiaries to remain dedicated to their studies and loyal to the nation.

The university's Bursar, Mrs. Florence Alabi, confirmed that the payments for all 101 students have been duly received and processed by the institution. She provided guidance on the procedures related to the fund.

NELFUND offers interest-free education loans designed to cover students' tuition fees throughout their first degree programs. Additionally, the fund includes a monthly stipend of 20,000 naira. The current batch of beneficiaries will receive a total of 240,000 naira over twelve months, as confirmed on their NELFUND profiles.
