As the global community celebrates this year's Maulud, Professor K.I.T. Eniola, the Vice Chancellor of Kogi State University, Kabba, has extended warm wishes to the university's staff and students observing the Islamic holiday commemorating the birth of the holy prophet. 

In a statement released by the university's spokesman, Tade Oshaloto, Professor Eniola highlighted the importance of reflecting on the teachings of Maulud. He emphasized that the holiday should serve as a time for each individual to renew their commitment to their duties and responsibilities, regardless of their scope or scale.

Professor Eniola, a noted Microbiology scholar, also stressed the value of empathy and dedication towards fellow citizens and the State. He acknowledged the unique opportunities the university community has been given to contribute to nation-building while securing a decent livelihood.
