KWASU Chancellor Inspects Ongoing KWASU Osi Campus Development
Dr. Thomas Adewumi, KWASU Chancellor, visits the ongoing KWASU Osi Campus construction, praising progress and emphasizing its regional importance.
Dr. Thomas Adewumi, Chancellor of Kwara State University (KWASU), visited the ongoing construction site of the KWASU Osi Campus today. He was warmly welcomed by the traditional authority of Osi, led by the Olosi of Osi, Oba Saliu Abdulkareem Adasofegbe Arowobeku I, and prominent community stakeholders, including Architect Dr. Olu Joseph Takiti, the OWA National President.
“My inspection this afternoon is to see the level of development at the Kwara State University, Osi site,” Dr. Adewumi stated. “The completion of this campus is crucial for the growth of our region, therefore KWASU Osi Campus has come to stay.”

Dr. Adewumi praised the efforts of the Executive Governor of Kwara State, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, in advancing the project. He emphasized the importance of completing and delivering the campus by the end of the year, as promised by the state government.

In his address, Oba Saliu Abdulkareem Adasofegbe Arowobeku I lauded the governor's commitment to the project. He described Governor AbdulRazaq as a leader who upholds equity, justice, and fairness, noting that this project has further distinguished him as a man of his word.

The visit has reignited the hope of the people of Osi and Ekiti Local Government Area regarding the varsity project.
