KWASU Promotes 17 Staff to Professorial Cadre
The Governing Council of Kwara State University (KWASU) has approved the promotion of six staff members to full Professor and 11 others to Associate Professor.
In a significant development, the Governing Council of Kwara State University (KWASU) at Malete has sanctioned the promotion of six individuals to full Professor and 11 others to Associate Professor.
The announcement, conveyed by KWASU's Acting Director of University Relations, Dr. Saeedat Aliyu, underscores the university's commitment to academic excellence and professional growth.
Among the newly promoted full Professors are distinguished scholars such as Prof. Adebayo Olowoake, specializing in Soil Fertility; Prof. Lawrence Ademiluyi, renowned in Entrepreneurship and Office Technology Management; Prof. Adeoye Afolabi, esteemed in Corporate & Public Finance; and Prof. Isiaka Aliagan, notable for contributions to Journalism and Media Studies.
The roster of new Professors also includes Prof. Sikiru Ahmed, esteemed in Physical and Computational Chemistry, and Prof. Aliru Mustapha, recognized for expertise in Analytical, Environmental, and Industrial Chemistry.
Additionally, 11 faculty members have been elevated to the position of Associate Professor, signifying their scholarly contributions and dedication to their respective fields.
