Lagos State University Best Graduating Student Receives N10 Million Reward

Olaniyi Mubaraq Olawale, the overall best graduating student of Lagos State University (LASU), has been awarded a N10 million cash prize by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu for his outstanding academic achievement. Olawale graduated with an impressive CGPA of 4.98 in Accounting Education, making him a shining example of academic excellence.

Olawale's story is particularly inspiring, given his humble background as the son of a wood seller and having lost his mother at a young age. Despite these challenges, he remained focused on his studies and actively participated in extracurricular activities, showcasing his determination and resilience.
