Lagos State University Opens Admission Into JUPEB Programme for 2025/2026

The Lagos State University (LASU) has announced the commencement of admission into its School of Basic and Advanced Studies [JUPEB Programme] for the 2025/2026 academic calendar.
According to the management, the programme officially began in July 2025 and will run for one academic session from September 2025 to August 2026.
The JUPEB programme is an intensive one-year academic pathway designed to prepare highly qualified candidates for direct entry admission into 200-level degree programmes in JUPEB-affiliated universities. The programme is located at the LASU School of Basic and Advanced Studies Campus, ASCON Road, Topo, Badagry, Lagos.
Admission Requirements
Applicants must have a minimum of five (5) credit passes at the Ordinary Level, including English Language. Candidates intending to pursue programmes in Medicine, Dentistry, Nursing, Pharmacology, Agricultural Science, Sciences, Education, Social Sciences, Management Sciences, and Engineering must possess credit passes in Mathematics in addition to other required subjects.
Shortlisted applicants will be invited to sit for a written qualifying examination. All candidates attending the qualifying examination are expected to present the following:
- National Identification Number (NIN) slip
- Birth certificate
- O’ Level result (Awaiting Result is not accepted)
- One passport photograph
It is also mandatory that the arrangement of names on the NIN slip, birth certificate, and O’ Level result must be consistent.
Successful candidates will be required to pay a non-refundable acceptance fee of Thirty Thousand Naira (₦30,000.00) only.
