Lagos State University Releases 2025/2026 Admission Form into School of Basic and Advanced Studies (JUPEB Programme)

The Lagos State University (LASU) has announced the sale of admission forms for its School of Basic and Advanced Studies (JUPEB Programme) for the 2025/2026 academic session.

The programme is designed to prepare students for admission into 200-level degree programmes offered by JUPEB-affiliated universities.

The JUPEB programme will run for one academic session, from September 2025 to August 2026. It is located at the LASU Badagry Campus, ASCON Road, Topo, Badagry, Lagos, Nigeria. To be eligible, candidates must have five O'Level credits, including English Language. For certain courses, such as Medicine, Dentistry, Nursing, and Engineering, a credit pass in Mathematics is compulsory.

The application deadline is set for Friday, September 19, 2025. Interested candidates can apply online through the LASU portal. The programme offers a direct entry pathway into 200-level university studies, bypassing the need for JAMB UTME. Over 70 Nigerian universities accept JUPEB results for direct entry into 200-level. Hostel accommodation is available for students at the Badagry campus.
