LASU Begins 2024/2025 Admission Screening Registration on Monday

Lagos State University (LASU) is set to commence registration for her 2024/2025 online screening exercise for regular and direct entry students on Monday, August 12, 2024 through September 6, 2024.

This was revealed on Thursday, 2024, on LASU X handle.

Only candidates who have chosen Lagos State University as their first choice of institution in the 2024 Unified Tertiary Martriculation Examination (UTME), and have scored a minimum of 195 marks are eligible to participate in the online admission screening exercise. Any candidate below the age of 16 by 1st October, 2024, will not be allowed to participate in the exercise.

RECOMMENDED: UNN Commences Post UTME Registration

The Screening of Candidates will be based on Point Grading System, using the UTME Score and SSCE grades in five (5) relevant subjects to candidates choice of course.

Candidates are advised to visit JAMB website to study the O Level subject requirements for their course of choice before participating in the online Admission Screening. 

The Point grading system is as follows:
O'LEVEL SSCE (WAEC/NECO/NABTEB) GRADING POINTS:

• A1 = 10
• A2 (B2) = 9
• B3, A3 (B3) = 8
• C4 = 7
• C5 = 6
• C6 = 5
  TOTAL OBTAINABLE = 50%
