LASU CRPSGBV, UNFPA, Consult to Organize 2nd Cohort Gender Based Violence In Emergencies Course
The Centre for Response and Prevention of Sexual and Gender-Based Violence (CRPSGBV) at Lagos State University (LASU), in partnership with UNFPA and LASU Consult, will host the second cohort of the Gender-Based Violence in Emergencies (GBVIE) course from May 5 to May 16, 2025.

The Centre for Response and Prevention of Sexual and Gender-Based Violence (CRPSGBV), Lagos State University (LASU), in collaboration with the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) and LASU Consult, is set to hold the second cohort of the LASU-UNFPA Gender-Based Violence in Emergencies (GBVIE) course.
Scheduled to take place from Monday, 5th May to Friday, 16th May 2025, the specialized course aims to equip participants with the necessary knowledge and skills to tackle gender-based violence in crisis situations. The training will be open to candidates who possess a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a related field.
The course registration fee has been set at N180,000 for local participants, while virtual and international participants will be required to pay $200. Additionally, accommodation will be available for interested participants upon request.
