LASU Matriculates 14,893 Students, Emphasizes Excellence and Character Development

Lagos State University (LASU) has matriculated 14,893 students for the 2025/2026 academic session, with Vice-Chancellor Professor Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello urging them to pursue excellence and cultivate strong moral character.

Addressing the students, Professor Olatunji-Bello emphasized LASU's commitment to holistic development, describing the university as a "world-class institution" dedicated to producing leaders. She reaffirmed the university's zero-tolerance policy towards misconduct, including cultism, examination malpractice, and sexual and gender-based violence.
