The Vice-Chancellor of Lagos State University (LASU) has compassionately approved the reopening of the Online Admission Screening Portal for the 2025/2026 academic session.

Suitably qualified candidates who are yet to apply are encouraged to take this final opportunity to complete their registration for either UTME (100 level) or Direct Entry (DE) admission into LASU.

ELIGIBILITY FOR SCREENING

1. UTME Candidates

  • Must have chosen LASU as First Choice in the 2025 UTME.
  • Must have scored 195 and above.
  • Must be at least 16 years of age by 30th September 2025.

2. Pre-Degree Students

  • Must have chosen LASU as First Choice.
  • Must have scored 195 and above in the 2025 UTME.
  • Must have successfully completed the LASU Pre-Degree Programme.

3. Direct Entry (DE) Candidates

  • Must have obtained DE form from JAMB and selected LASU as First Choice.
  • Only LASU Diploma is acceptable (except for NCE candidates applying for Faculty of Education programmes).

4. Indigenes of Lagos State

  • Must have undergone verification by the Independent Indigeneship Verification Committee (IIVC).
  • Indigeneship claims will be automatically validated on the portal.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

  • Five (5) relevant O’Level credits at not more than two sittings (except Medicine and Dentistry, which accept one sitting only).
  • Candidates for Engineering (with two sittings) must present six (6) O’Level credits, including Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, English Language, two other science subjects.
  • Aeronautic and Astronautic Engineering requires credit in Further Mathematics.
  • All candidates must upload O’Level results to JAMB CAPS before screening closes.

  2. Click on Student > New Applicants > UTME/DE Screening
  3. Login with UTME Reg No & Surname
  4. Click Make Payment (₦2,000 via Remita)
  5. After payment, return to dashboard and click Start Admission Screening
  6. Fill in your details, including:
    • Bio-data
    • Course of study
    • UTME & O’Level subjects
    • Parent/Guardian information
  7. Preview and tick "I Certify" to submit
  8. Download your Screening Report

SCREENING TIMELINE

  • Application Reopens: Monday, 4th August 2025
  • Closes: Friday, 9th August 2025 (by 11:59 PM)IMPORTANT
  • Any exam written after July 2025 is not acceptable.
  • Screening is strictly online and based on Point Grading System (UTME score + best 5 relevant O’Level subjects).
