The Directorate of Research Management and Innovation at Lagos State University (LASU) has initiated a sensitization campaign for the 6th LASU Research and Innovation Fair, scheduled for October 8-9, 2024.

 The Directorate of Research Management and Innovation (DRMI) at Lagos State University (LASU) has launched a sensitization campaign in anticipation of the 6th LASU Research and Innovation Fair. The campaign commenced with visits to various faculties and departments, including the Lagos State University College of Medicine, Faculties of Management Sciences, Social Sciences, Schools, Bursary, and Registry Departments.

Leading the effort, Prof. Adejuwon Adeneye, Director of DRMI, along with members of the Central Planning Committee (CPC), began the engagement on Monday, July 1, 2024. The team interacted with staff at the Faculty of Management Sciences and the Faculty of Social Sciences to inform them about the upcoming fair, scheduled for October 8-9, 2024, at the Aderemi Makanjuola Lecture Hall, LASU Main Campus, Ojo.

Prof. Adeneye expressed gratitude to the faculties for their past support and encouraged even greater involvement this year. He detailed the registration process and assured a seamless experience for participants. Reflecting on previous fairs' success, he voiced optimism for an even more outstanding event in 2024.

The fair will feature distinguished guests, including Rt. Hon Mudashiru OBASA as the Special Guest of Honor and Keynote Speaker, along with other esteemed speakers. Prof. Adeneye emphasized that the LASU Research Fair is an interactive platform for groundbreaking research across various disciplines, addressing topics relevant to academics and the general public.

The sensitization visit included a productive question-and-answer session, where attendees received essential information and offered valuable suggestions. The campaign continues on July 2, 2024, with visits to the Faculty of Science, School of Transport and Logistics, and the Faculty of Communication and Media Studies.
