LASUED Appoints Prof. Morufudeen Shittu as Substantive Deputy Vice-Chancellor

Lagos State University of Education (LASUED) has appointed Professor Morufudeen Adeniyi Shittu as its substantive Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Administration). This appointment marks a significant milestone in the institution's leadership structure.

Prof. Shittu is an Associate Professor of Arabic Language Education with extensive experience in academic leadership. Before his current appointment, he served as the Acting Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Administration) of LASUED and held various positions, including Deputy Provost of the defunct Michael Otedola College of Primary Education (MOCPED). He has chaired several committees and served as Dean of Student Affairs, Dean of School, and Head of Department at various periods in his academic career.

Prof. Shittu holds a Bachelor's degree in Arabic Language and Literature from Lagos State University, a Master's degree in Arabic Language and Literature, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Education. He also earned his Doctorate degree in Arabic Curriculum from Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI) Malaysia .
