Chiemelie Anunobi, the sole male contestant from Government Technical College, Nkpor, clinched victory in Nonye Soludo's Healthy Living Cooking Competition in Anambra's Ogidi Zone, earning a 200,000 naira prize for his impressive three-course meal. Runner-up Chisom Nworji and third-place winner Blessing Nwabia received prizes of 150,000 naira and 100,000 naira, respectively. Mrs. Nonye Soludo praised the students for their culinary skills and highlighted the competition's focus on promoting hygiene, discipline, and a commitment to natural and organic cooking.

In a remarkable display of culinary prowess, Chiemelie Anunobi, a student from Government Technical College, Nkpor, Idemili North Local Government Area of Anambra State, emerged as the overall winner in the maiden edition of the Nonye Soludo's Healthy Living Cooking Competition held in the Ogidi Zone.

Anunobi, the sole male participant in the competition, outshone his counterparts by crafting a delectable three-course meal during the final showdown. The event, organized for secondary schools across Anambra State, saw representatives from each of the six educational zones, including Ogidi, Onitsha, Nnewi, Awka, Aguata, and Otuocha.

Following the initial stage, where contestants prepared two-course diets, Anunobi secured the top position, earning a well-deserved cash prize of two hundred thousand naira. Chisom Nworji from Kenneth Dike Memorial Secondary School, Awka, representing Awka Zone, secured the runner-up position with a prize of one hundred and fifty thousand naira, while Blessing Nwabia from Carol Standard Secondary School, Ichi, Nnewi, representing Nnewi Zone, clinched third place with a cash prize of one hundred thousand naira.

The competition, aimed at promoting hygiene, discipline, diligence, and a commitment to healthy living, garnered praise from Mrs. Nonye Soludo, the organizer and wife of the governor. Mrs. Soludo emphasized the importance of understanding the uniqueness of food and encouraged a natural and organic approach to cooking, asserting that delicious and healthy meals can be prepared without synthetic ingredients.
