McPherson University Boosts Campus Welfare with New Fleet Commissioning

In a significant move to enhance administrative efficiency and campus medical response, the Vice Chancellor of McPherson University, Prof. Francis Igbasan, officially commissioned three new vehicles today during a dedication ceremony held on the university grounds.

The new fleet includes two official cars designated for the university’s Principal Officers and a state-of-the-art ambulance dedicated to the University Clinic.

The acquisition of the ambulance marks the completion of a priority project for the current administration. Speaking at the event, Prof. Igbasan noted that the vehicle was a direct response to long-standing advocacy from key stakeholders, including parents, students, and staff.

"This ambulance is more than just a vehicle; it is a commitment to the wellbeing of our community," Prof. Igbasan stated. "It fulfills a cogent vision to strategically improve our clinic’s services and ensure that patient transport is both swift and professional."

The ceremony took a spiritual turn as Rev. Dr. Abikoye led the dedication, citing Psalm 121. He commended the university’s rapid infrastructural growth and offered a poignant prayer that the ambulance serves as a "vessel for healing," both in the literal medical sense and spiritually for those it carries.

Following a symbolic test drive by the Vice Chancellor, the keys were formally presented to the respective officers.
