The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has clarified his remarks concerning the proposed Abuja University of Technology in the Abaji area council. He stated that he did not refer to the institution as a "glorified secondary school."
During the flag-off of the 5km Naharati-Angwan Hausawa road project, Minister Wike emphasized that the university is a project of the FCT and must adhere to standards expected of a world-class university.
