Miva Open University Receives NUC Accreditation for Four New Courses
According to a statement released by the university, a team from the NUC visited Miva Open University on March 8, 2024. Miva Open University, a newly accredited private institution, has announced the accreditation of four new courses by the National Universities Commission (NUC). The accredited programs include B.Sc in Criminology & Security Studies, Entrepreneurship, Information Technology, and Mass Communication.
The accreditation covers courses offered by three distinct departments: the School of Management and Social Sciences, School of Computing, and School of Communication and Media Studies.

In response, the NUC team expressed satisfaction with Miva Open University's teaching and virtual learning model, acknowledging it as unique and worthy of emulation by other institutions. The university was commended for its collaboration with NUC to ensure a successful accreditation process.
