Students of Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike (MOUAU) have expressed satisfaction with the conduct of the 2025/2026 first semester examinations, which entered its final week on February 2, 2026.

Speaking to MOUAU News, Miss Ogbonnia Favour Chinecherem, a 100-level student of the Department of Human Nutrition and Dietetics, described her first university examination experience as peaceful and well-organised. She noted that invigilators maintained a calm demeanor while being vigilant and ready to enforce penalties for any acts of malpractice.

A 400-level student from the Department of Library and Information Science, who preferred to remain anonymous, also praised the examination process, highlighting the calm environment and strict monitoring, which enabled students to write without fear or distraction.

MOUAU News visited several examination venues and observed students writing in an orderly and focused atmosphere, with supervisors and invigilators performing their duties diligently.

The report further noted the hands-on involvement of the Chairman of the Examinations and Times Table Committee (ETTC), Prof. Nelson Onwuka, and the Chairman of the Academic Quality Assurance and Monitoring Committee, Prof. Chukwuma Ofor, along with their teams, who worked round the clock to monitor the exams and promptly address any lapses or challenges.

The overall feedback reflects the university’s commitment to maintaining high standards of academic integrity and a conducive examination environment.
