MSSN Yobe State University Branch Hosts Fresher's Day

The Muslim Students' Society of Nigeria (MSSN) Yobe State University Branch recently organized a Fresher's Day event with the theme "Marhaba and Orientation of New Students."

The ceremony, held at the Giedam Hall 'A' of the university, brought together new students, faculty members, and distinguished guests.

The event featured notable speakers, including Dr. Mukhtar Garba, Dr. Aliyu Bade, Dr. Muh'd Sabo Bello, Malam Sani Aliyu, and Mal. Nasir Salihu Albani. Dr. Yahuza Hamza Abubakar, Chairman of the Hisbah Commission Yobe State, served as the honored guest, while Dr. Muhammad Dawud Damaturu acted as the Chairman of the occasion.

Professor Sani Isah, Dean of Students Affairs at Yobe State University, was recognized as the Father of the Day. The event aimed to welcome and orient new students, fostering a sense of community and belonging within the university.
