The Muslim Students' Society of Nigeria (MSSN), Gombe State Polytechnic, Bajoga Chapter, successfully organized an Inter-Secondary School Competition on 9th November 2024 at Gombe State Polytechnic, Bajoga.

The Muslim Students' Society of Nigeria (MSSN), Gombe State Polytechnic, Bajoga Chapter, held a highly successful Inter-Secondary School Competition on Saturday, 9th November 2024, at the Polytechnic campus in Bajoga. The event, which aimed to promote intellectual excellence, teamwork, and Islamic values among secondary school students, attracted participation from secondary schools within Funakaye local government.

The competition commenced with an opening ceremony, where the MSSN patron, GSPB, delivered a warm welcome address. This was followed by a keynote address from Malam Abdulsalam Garba, the Amir of Funakaye Area Council, who emphasized the importance of intellectual engagement and the role of education in shaping future leaders.

The competition featured two main events: a paper presentation and a debate. Both were conducted in an orderly and peaceful manner, with the judging panel comprising renowned academicians and professionals who assessed the participants' performance based on clarity, knowledge, and critical thinking.

A total of eleven secondary schools participated in the competition, with 380 students and teachers in attendance. The competition highlighted the students' exceptional skills and knowledge, showcasing the potential of youth in Funakaye local government.

The overall winner of the competition was JIBWIS Islamic Science Secondary School, which triumphed in both the paper presentation and debate categories, further solidifying its position as a beacon of academic excellence in the region.

The MSSN Bajoga Chapter expressed sincere gratitude to all those who contributed to the success of the event.
