NAMS GSU Set to Host Antimicrobial Resistance-themed Microbiology Week

The Nigeria Association of Microbiology Students (NAMS), Gombe State University Chapter, spearheaded by President Comrade Usman Abubakar Adamu and his dedicated cabinet members, is poised to kick off its annual Microbiology Week.

This event aims to foster unity among students while delving into the crucial theme of Antimicrobial Resistance.

Scheduled to span three days, from Thursday, December 7th, 2023, to Saturday, December 9th, 2023, the weeklong event promises diverse activities catering to both academic and recreational interests.

Day 1: Lab Coat Day and International Conference Center Visit (December 7th)

Participants are encouraged to wear lab coats as they convene at the International Conference Center for engaging activities.

Day 2: Public Lectures (December 8th)

A series of enlightening public lectures focusing on the theme of Antimicrobial Resistance will take place at the Old Multipurpose Hall GSU.

Day 3: Football Match at Braverock Park Center (December 9th)

A friendly football match is set to bring together students and enthusiasts at the Braverock Park Center in Gombe, fostering a spirit of camaraderie and sportsmanship.
