NANS Enugu State Chapter Elects New Executives for 2024-2025 Academic Year
The Enugu State Chapter of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) has elected new leaders for the 2024-2025 academic year. Comrade Cajetan Ali was appointed Chairman of the Joint Campus Council (JCC). Other key roles include Comrade Ani Stephanie Chioma as Vice Chairman and Comrade James Ndubuisi Emmanuel as Secretary General. The election, held at the University of Nigeria Enugu Campus (UNEC), was noted for its high turnout and transparency.

The Enugu State Chapter of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) has elected new executives for the 2024-2025 academic year in a vibrant election held at the University of Nigeria Enugu Campus (UNEC). The event saw a high turnout of student representatives from across the state’s higher institutions.
Comrade Cajetan Ali was elected as Chairman of the Joint Campus Council (JCC), marking a new leadership phase for NANS Enugu State. Comrade Ani Stephanie Chioma will serve as Vice Chairman, while Comrade James Ndubuisi Emmanuel and Comrade Ugwu Sobechi Abel will take on roles as Secretary General and Assistant Secretary, respectively.

The election, organized by the Convention Planning Committee (CPC) under Chairman Comrade Ejike Celestine and Secretary Comrade Ikechukwu Emmanuel Obi, was praised for its fairness and transparency.
The event was attended by prominent NANS figures including Comrade Chidi Nzekwe, Coordinator of NANS Zone F (South East), and former NANS President Comrade Chidi Ilogebe. Other notable attendees were former South East Coordinators Comrade Moses Ibeabuchi and Barr Chika Nzelu.
Student union leaders from various institutions, including Comrade Ugo Ugochukwu (IMT), Comrade Oguka Christopher (Federal School of Statistics), and Comrade Ezenwaji Chiagozie (ESUT), were also present, reflecting strong support and engagement from the student community.
The new executive team is expected to focus on enhancing student welfare, improving inter-campus relations, and representing student interests effectively, promising a proactive and impactful tenure.
