Nasarawa State University Student Killed in Foiled Robbery Attempt

Mustapha Osama, a 300-level student of Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK), was killed during a thwarted robbery attempt on Friday night. The incident occurred around 8 PM along the Gudi-Akwanga road in the Akwanga Local Government Area of Nasarawa State.
Sources indicate that Osama was driving when he was struck by a bullet fired by the robbers. The attempt on his life was interrupted by swift action from the Nigeria Police, who responded to a distress call. The state’s Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Ramhan Nansel, confirmed that the robbery was successfully foiled by the police.

Following Islamic rites, Osama was laid to rest in Doma on Saturday morning. The community is mourning the loss of the young student, who was a vibrant part of the university.
