Professor Sa’adatu Hassan Liman, the first female Vice Chancellor of Nasarawa State University, Keffi, recently presided over the induction of students into the Institute of Strategic and Development Communication (ISDEVCOM) during its inaugural lecture and Alumni engagement event.

Addressing the gathering, Professor Liman highlighted ISDEVCOM’s pivotal role since 2018 in advancing science and development communication at the university. She emphasized the institute's leadership in Africa's strategic communication landscape, underscoring its commitment to academic excellence and societal impact through research.

Additionally, ISDEVCOM inaugurated its annual Lecture Series and Alumni Executive Committee, aiming to strengthen alumni engagement and foster continuous learning.

Director of ISDEVCOM, Professor Emmanuel Dandaura, reiterated the institute's mission to enhance understanding in development and communication spheres.
