NASU FPOG Bonny Branch Strengthens Ties with Rt. Hon. Victor Oko Jumbo; Secures Scholarship for Students

In a strategic move to foster institutional collaboration, the leadership of the Non-Academic Staff Union of Educational and Associated Institutions (NASU), Federal Polytechnic of Oil and Gas (FPOG) Bonny branch, paid a courtesy visit to the immediate past Speaker of the Rivers State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Victor Oko Jumbo, on Thursday, December 18, 2025.

The delegation, led by NASU Chairman Comrade Elekwachi Gift O., sought to establish a mutually beneficial alliance between the lawmaker and the Polytechnic to drive community-focused development and academic support.

The discussions also paved the way for deeper administrative collaboration. The Honourable Member expressed a keen interest in meeting with the Polytechnic’s Management for a formal site visit. This proposed tour aims to provide a firsthand assessment of the campus to identify critical areas where legislative partnership and infrastructural support can be effectively deployed.
