The Honourable Minister of Education, Prof. Tahir Mamman, SAN, CON, on Thursday, July 4, 2024 has inaugurated the Governing Council of the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN).

The 5-member council, chaired by the former Bauchi State governor, Malam Isa Yuguda, was inaugurated alongside other newly-appointed Chairmen and members of Governing Councils of the Federal Universities, Polytechnics, and Colleges of Education in the country.

Other members of the council are Dr. Godwin Etta, Hon. Hingah Biem, Hon. Yomi Balogun and Barr. Mrs. Deborah Appah.

The ceremony took place at the National Universities Commission’s (NUC) auditorium in Abuja.
