NDA Cadets Visit NITT for Industrial Work Experience

The Nigerian Institute of Transport Technology (NITT), Zaria, hosted officer cadets from the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA), Kaduna, as part of the Cadets Industrial Work Experience Scheme (CIWES). Led by Engr. Haruna Abdulaziz and Dr. Nwachukwu Clement, the cadets from the Mechanical Engineering and Logistics & Supply Chain Management departments were received by NITT’s Registrar, Dr. Maina W. A. Tarfa.

The Nigerian Institute of Transport Technology (NITT), Zaria, on [Insert Date], welcomed officer cadets from the Department of Mechanical Engineering and the Department of Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA), Kaduna.

The visit was part of the Cadets Industrial Work Experience Scheme (CIWES), a specialized training program aimed at exposing cadets to real-world industrial work scenarios relevant to their fields. The two groups were led by Engr. Haruna Abdulaziz and Dr. Nwachukwu Clement.

The Registrar of NITT, Dr. Maina W. A. Tarfa, received the cadets on behalf of the Director General/Chief Executive, Dr. Bayero Salih Farah. The visit featured a power-point presentation by the Press and Public Relations Unit, followed by a guided tour of the Institute’s facilities to provide the cadets with firsthand knowledge of industrial applications in transport technology.
