New Leadership Emerges for Bayero University Kano Alumni Association (BUKAA)

The Bayero University, Kano Alumni Association (BUKAA) has elected new officials to lead the association during its Annual General Meeting and Convention held at the Convocation Arena on Saturday, December 16, 2023. Alhaji Shuaibu Idris emerged as the consensus President, set to guide the association for a tenure of two years.

In his inaugural address, Alhaji Shuaibu Idris expressed his commitment to fostering unity and progress within the association. He pledged to reposition BUKAA, ensuring development initiatives that align with the interests of both alumni members and the University at large.

The newly elected executives joining Alhaji Shuaibu Idris to steer the affairs of BUKAA are as follows:

 

Vice President I: Aare Akinwunmi Akinyemi

Vice President II: Ahmed Abdulkadir Firdaus

Secretary General: Alhaji Salisu Indabawa

Assistant Secretary General I: Ma'ruf Zakariya

Secretary General II: Mairo Suleiman

Financial Secretary: Safiya Stephanie Musa

Internal Auditor: Ambassador Adamu Babangida

Treasurer: Ali Muhammad Argungu

Welfare Officer: Mustapha A. Dawaki

Legal Adviser: Barrister Saidu Tudun Wada
