Newgate College Marks 10th Anniversary with Interdenominational Thanksgiving Service
Newgate College of Health Technology celebrated its 10th anniversary with a vibrant Thanksgiving Service featuring a diverse community and a powerful message from Dr. Isiah Ayosoye Ayoola.
Newgate College of Health Technology marked a significant milestone as it officially celebrated its 10th anniversary with an interdenominational Thanksgiving Service. The event, held on the college premises, was a vibrant testament to the institution’s decade of accomplishments and unity.
The ceremony brought together a diverse group of attendees, including students, staff, faculty, and members of the local community from various faiths. The gathering was graced by notable figures such as the Provost of the institution, Mrs. Queendaline Opara Iwuala; Deputy Provost, Dr. John Akiboh; Registrar, Mall. Abdul-Hakeem Hussaini Baba; and other management staff and students.
The service featured a compelling address by the Guest Speaker, Dr. Isiah Ayosoye Ayoola, an Elder at the Apostolic Church, Minna, and Lecturer at the Department of Estate Management and Valuation, Federal University of Technology, Minna. His message was followed by a colorful display of music and intercessory prayers led by pastors and leaders from various denominations.
Organized by the Newgate College 10th Anniversary Committee, led by the immediate past Provost, Mrs. Philomena Hope Ajayi, the event showcased the college’s dedication to fostering unity and spiritual growth.
“Today, we celebrate not only our blessings but also our shared values and faith, hope, and love,” said Mrs. Queendaline Opara Iwuala, Provost of Newgate College. “This milestone event demonstrates the enduring spirit of cooperation and gratitude that the Newgate College community has embodied over the past decade. This is just the beginning of better things to come.”
As part of the anniversary celebrations, free eye tests, cervical, and breast cancer screenings are scheduled to take place at Newgate Hospital, Minna, starting at 9:00 am on Monday, 9th September 2024.
