In a bid to foster stronger ties with the Lagos State University School of Basic Education and Advanced Studies (LASUSBAS), the 15 Field Engineering Regiment of the Nigerian Army, stationed in Topo, Badagry Local Government Area of Lagos State, has affirmed its commitment to a harmonious relationship.

During a courtesy visit to LASUSBAS, Lt. Col. Sagir Lawan, the Commanding Officer of the regiment, expressed his determination to bolster the existing collaboration between the army and the educational institution. Lt. Col. Lawan highlighted the proximity of the regiment to LASUSBAS, emphasizing the significance of cooperation and synergy between the two entities.

"I am impressed and satisfied with the school," remarked Lt. Col. Lawan, underscoring the positive impression garnered from his visit.

In response, Prof. Yunus Dauda, the Director of LASUSBAS, acknowledged the importance of maintaining a cordial relationship with the Nigerian Army. Prof. Dauda affirmed the institution's commitment to collaboration, citing a history of fruitful engagement with the army under the previous commandant.

"We had a cordial relationship with the previous commandant, and we assure you of our cooperation," stated Prof. Dauda, extending a warm welcome to Lt. Col. Lawan and his team. He further extended an invitation for members of the regiment to consider enrolling their children in LASUSBAS, highlighting the institution's reputation for magnanimity, humility, and simplicity.
