Noel Ifeanyi Alumona, a Nigerian educator and founder of Boys Champions, has been nominated for a prestigious $100,000 global prize for his outstanding work in teaching young children. Alumona, currently pursuing a master's degree at Vanderbilt University in the United States, founded Boys Champions, a non-governmental organization dedicated to teaching boys about positive masculinity and respect for women.

Alumona's journey to success has been marked by adversity, including a traumatic childhood and the challenges of living in regions affected by Boko Haram insurgencies. Despite these obstacles, Alumona has remained resilient and committed to his educational goals.
