Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) denies suspending strike, set to go ahead with nationwide mass protest from Wednesday until their demands are met.

Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) demands;

1. Immediate reversal of all anti-poor policies of the the government including the recent hike in PMS price, school fees and VAT

2. Release of 8 months withheld salaries of university lecturers and workers.

3. Repairs of local refineries in Port Harcourt, Warri and Kaduna.

4. Immediate implementation in good faith of the resolutions with congress jointly signed with the Government and TUC.
