Kwara State Commissioner for Tertiary Education, Dr. Mary Arinde, has reassured parents and guardians that there will be no tuition fee hike across tertiary institutions in the state. Arinde conveyed this during a meeting held on Friday. She emphasized that the AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq-led administration is committed to easing the financial burden on students and families in light of ongoing economic challenges.

Acting Vice-Chancellor of Kwara State University, Malete, Prof. Shaykh-Luqman Jimoh, commended Governor AbdulRazaq's decision to maintain the current school fees structure. He described this as a forward-thinking move to ensure that quality education at the tertiary level remains accessible to the people of the state.

Additionally, Professor Mukaila Aremu, the Provost of the College of Education, Oro, confirmed that the previous tuition fees for students in the three Colleges of Education in the state would remain unchanged. He refuted any claims of an impending fee increase circulating among the general public.
