NSCDC Donates Patrol Vehicle to Al-Hikmah University

In order to enhance security and strengthen partnerships with educational institutions, the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has donated a patrol vehicle to Al-Hikmah University.

The Vice-Chancelor, Prof. Noah Yusuf, stated during the handover ceremony held at the university premises that the donation will significantly aid the university's unit of NSCDC in performing its duties effectively and facilitate prompt response during emergencies.

Prof. Yusuf expressed confidence that the donation would assist the existing security infrastructure of the university and enhance the overall safety of staff and students at the institution.

The Chairman of Council, Alhaja Sekinat Yusuf, appreciated the Commandant for his kind gesture and being conscious of security situations at the university.

The Kwara State Commandant of NSCDC, Dr. Umar Mohammed, emphasised the importance of collaboration between security agencies and educational institutions in combating security challenges across the state.

The university registrar, Dr. Kazeem Oladimeji, who described the NSCDC Commandant as a brother, requested further cooperation between the security agency and the university.
