NSUK Lecturer Prof. Gidado Appointed Chairman, Governing Council

The Executive Governor of Adamawa State, His Excellency Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has approved the appointment of Professor Maxwell Gidado, SAN as the Pro-Chancellor and Chairman, Governing Council of Adamawa State University, Mubi.

In a letter signed by the Secretary to the Government of Adamawa State, Hon. Awwal D. Tukur and sighted by NSUK IPU states that the appointment was done after careful consideration and recognition of his integrity, diligence, and dedication to duty which have manifested in his laudable achievements both academically and physically in the development of Universities.

Until his current appointment, Professor Maxwell Gidado was the immediate past Chief of Staff to His Excellency the Executive Governor of Adamawa State Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, and he is also a tenured staff of the Faculty of Law, Nasarawa State University, Keffi.

The New Governing Council has since been inaugurated.
