NSUK VC Launches One Million Naira Research Grant for PhD Students

The School of Postgraduate Studies (SPGS) at Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK), has announced the launch of the Vice Chancellor’s Research Grant, offering up to ₦1 million to PhD students. This initiative is designed to encourage innovative research and reward academic brilliance.

The grant is open to all PhD candidates within NSUK’s SPGS, with the best proposal receiving ₦1 million. The second and third best proposals will earn ₦750,000 and ₦500,000, respectively.

To qualify, applicants must submit a detailed proposal that includes a title page, abstract, problem statement, research objectives, methodology, expected outcomes, budget, and references. Submissions are to be routed through the respective Heads of Departments (HODs).

The application process begins at the start of the 2024/2025 academic session, with the deadline set two months into the session. This initiative underscores the university's commitment to academic advancement and excellence.
