NSUK Vice-Chancellor Professor Sa’adatu Liman Commended for Waste Management Initiative

The Vice-Chancellor of Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK), Professor Sa’adatu Hassan Liman, has been lauded for her proactive and impactful waste management initiatives within the university community and Keffi town.

The commendation and an accompanying award were presented by a delegation from the Nasarawa State Waste Management and Sanitation Authority, led by the Director-General, Honourable Muhammad Bello Isa (an alumnus of the university), during a courtesy visit on Thursday, December 12, 2025.

Honourable Isa disclosed that the initiative stemmed from a collaboration with a team from NSUK, led by Dr. Taibat Ibrahim, which focused on waste collection and disposal in three Keffi communities: Angwan Lambu, Angwan Yalwa, and Makwalla.
