Nuhu Bamalli Polytechnic Mourns the Passing of Esteemed Lecturer, Mr. Sabo Goma

The Department of IJMB Science, School of Advanced and General Studies at Nuhu Bamalli Polytechnic, Zaria, has been thrown into mourning following the passing of Mr. Sabo Goma, a revered Biology lecturer. Mr. Goma passed away on February 22nd, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of dedication, mentorship, and excellence in academia.

Mr. Sabo Goma, who began his service in 2004 in the then Department of Continuing Education, was not only a lecturer but also a mentor to many. Having been under the mentorship of experienced educators, he in turn guided numerous Biology lecturers who joined after him. His influence extended beyond the polytechnic, benefiting many master's and Ph.D. students within and outside the institution.

Passionate about teaching, Mr. Goma had a unique talent for making complex biological concepts easily understandable. His patience, enthusiasm, and genuine concern for students' academic growth earned him their admiration and respect. Through his unwavering commitment, he shaped the academic journey of many aspiring scientists and educators.
