NYSC Coordinator Visits University of Maiduguri, Strengthens Partnership

The Vice-Chancellor of the University of Maiduguri, Professor Mohammed Laminu Mele, has received the Borno State Coordinator of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Mallam Nasiru Bello, on a familiarisation visit.

The meeting aimed to strengthen the existing relationship between the university and the NYSC.

During the visit, Professor Mele commended the NYSC for its role in promoting national unity, youth development, and community service. He noted that corps members deployed to the university have made significant contributions to teaching, research, and administrative services.

The Vice-Chancellor assured the Coordinator that the university will continue to support and partner with the NYSC, particularly in areas of training, capacity building, and skills acquisition. Mallam Bello commended the university for its longstanding support to corps members and emphasized the need to sustain collaboration in advancing education and nation-building.
