NYSC DG Preaches Empathy, Selflessness in Sallah Message to Corps Members

The Director General of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Brigadier General YD Ahmed has preached empathy and selflessness in his Sallah message to corps members.

Myschoolnews reports this is coming as the DG joins everyone in wishing muslin faithfuls a happy Sallah celebration.

The DG's message reads:

"I felicitate our Muslim faithfuls across the world, especially our patriotic Corps Members, staff, and other critical stakeholders of the National Youth Service Corps, as we commemorate this year's Eid-el-Kabir.

May the signifficance of the celebration, predicated on complete devotion to the Almighty Allah, SWT; lessons of empathy, selflessness and willingness to sacrifice to the greater good of humanity abide with us, as we work diligently and progressively for a better Nigeria.

May Almighty Allah, SWT, accept our prayers offered in faith and in total submission to His will, this season and beyond. 

May He bless our nation, Nigeria, with peace and prosperity in all ramifications of our national life.
