NYSC DG Tasks Corps Members on Patriotosm, Tolerance

Myschoolnews reports NYSC Director General, Brigadier General Yusha'u Dogara Ahmed stated this during his recent visit to the Rivers State Orientation Camp in Nonwa-Gbam, Tai Local Government Area.
He warned the Corps Members against the misuse of the social media for negative tendencies, nothing that they should rather use it for the promotion of national unity and integration.
He told them to respect cultural values of their host communities and also add value to improve the living standard of the residents.
"Think of what you want to do with your lives. Be focused, shun social vices and you will succeed," he said.
The DG also warned against the misuse of the social media adding that anyone caught violating the established rules and regulations in the Scheme would be sanctioned.
The NYSC Rivers State Coordinator, Mr George Mfongang in his report to General Ahmed stated that all the registered 1,674 Corps Members comprising 754 males and 920 females are well-behaved and have adjusted to camp life.
