Several National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members were injured when a hostel wall collapsed at the NYSC orientation camp in Ise-Emure, Ekiti State.

The incident, which occurred early on Friday morning, involved the collapse of the bathroom wall of a female hostel, injuring corps members who were preparing for their morning routines.

In response to the incident, NYSC management assured the public that the situation is under control. In a statement posted on their official Twitter handle, @officialnyscng, they stated: "Management wishes to inform the general public about the collapsed convenience that occurred in the early hours of today, Friday 12th July 2024, at Ekiti State Orientation Camp in Ise-Orun, Emure Ekiti, that the situation is under control."
