The management of Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife, has announced the official release of the admission list for the 2025/2026 academic session.

According to the Registrar, Mrs. A. M. Omosule, candidates who participated in the university’s admission screening exercise can now check their admission status on both the JAMB Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) and the OAU admission portal.

To check their status on JAMB CAPS, candidates are to:

  1. Visit https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/ and log in with their registered email and password.
  2. Click on ‘Check Admission Status’ and then ‘Access my CAPS’.
  3. Select ‘Admission Status’ to view whether they have been offered admission.

Successful candidates will receive a congratulatory message alongside their photo image. Those not yet admitted will see the message “Sorry, No Admission Has Been Given Yet.”

Mrs. Omosule further advised all admitted candidates to accept or reject their admission offers within four weeks via SMS by sending ACCEPT or REJECT to 55019 or 66019, using the phone number linked to their JAMB profile. Candidates who have misplaced their registered phone numbers are to visit a JAMB-accredited centre for assistance.

After accepting their offers, candidates should print their admission letters, as it will be required during clearance and registration at the university.

She also cautioned mobile users that the “Check Admission Status” option may not appear on JAMB CAPS when using a phone in normal view. Such candidates are advised to enable desktop mode on their browsers (preferably Chrome) to access the full page.
