Obafemi Awolowo University's Pharmacy Faculty Marks 60 Years with Alumni Celebrations
During the celebration, GIPAA Global Chairman, Olalekan Asuni, expressed the association's overarching goal of fostering a global community of Great Ife Pharmacy, dedicated to promoting excellent teaching and learning experiences in the faculty.

Graduates from the Pharmacy faculty of Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife, joyously commemorated the 60th anniversary of the esteemed faculty. The celebration, hosted by the Great Ife Pharmacy Alumni Association (GIPAA), brought together pharmacy alumni from across the globe for a memorable event.
During the celebration, GIPAA Global Chairman, Olalekan Asuni, expressed the association's overarching goal of fostering a global community of Great Ife Pharmacy, dedicated to promoting excellent teaching and learning experiences in the faculty. As part of the festivities, the old students engaged in the sod-turning ceremony for a proposed ultramodern pharmacy student hostel at the university’s new student hostel site.

Mr. Asuni assured attendees that GIPAA is committed to leveraging its global network to enhance the faculty's standing. He pledged to mobilize resources, attract scholars, and facilitate grants for research and other scholastic endeavors. The association aims to elevate the faculty from a center of theoretical training to a global center of excellence in pharmacy education.
Furthermore, Mr. Asuni emphasized GIPAA's dedication to supporting current students. He assured them that the association would spare no effort in ensuring a conducive learning environment, providing necessary tools, and upholding the standards set decades ago.
