Obi Cubana Congratulates Lagos Hawker Turned Law Graduate, Ekuma Jeremiah

Businessman Obinna Iyiegbu, popularly known as Obi Cubana, has congratulated Ekuma Jeremiah, the Lagos traffic hawker who gained national attention in 2022 for giving money to inmates in a Correctional Service van. Jeremiah recently completed his law degree at Ebonyi State University.

Ekuma Jeremiah's story went viral in 2022 when he was captured on camera handing out cash to inmates in a Correctional Service vehicle along the Ajah axis in Lagos State. Following the viral video, Obi Cubana offered Jeremiah a scholarship to complete his education and employment in any of his companies.

Jeremiah had initially dropped out of Ebonyi State University's Faculty of Law due to financial difficulties. However, with Obi Cubana's support, he was able to resume his studies and eventually graduate.
