Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU) Unveils Procedures for 2023/2024 Post-UTME and Direct Entry Screening

Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU), situated in Ago-Iwoye, Ogun State, Nigeria, has officially released details of the procedures for the Post-UTME (PUTME) and Direct Entry (D/E) Screening for the upcoming 2023/2024 Academic Session. Eligible UTME Candidates: 

To be eligible, candidates must have a minimum UTME score of 160 and must have chosen OOU as their preferred university. Alternatively, candidates who initially did not select OOU but scored 160 or higher and are willing to change their first choice to OOU before the screening date are also eligible. Additionally, candidates must have uploaded their WASCE/NECO 'Level Results on the JAMB CAPS.

Direct Entry Candidates:

Eligibility extends to candidates with 'A' Level/OND/HND/NCE/A'LEVEL/JUPEB Results/Certificate or First Degree who applied for Direct Entry Admission through JAMB. Diploma holders from OOU and those from other approved institutions with a minimum of Upper Credit who applied through JAMB for Direct Entry are also eligible.

Application Period: 

The application period for both UTME and D/E candidates spans from August 2, 2023, to October 15, 2023.

Screening Dates:

The screening is scheduled to take place from Wednesday, October 11th, to Friday, October 13th, 2023. Please note that the new dates may be announced.

Payment:

Candidates are required to make a payment of N2,000 for the Screening Exercise and administrative charges. Payment must be completed online through the school portal. It's crucial to create a profile accurately, as creating a wrong profile or making a payment with the wrong UTME registration number will invalidate the application.

Apply Online:

Candidates should visit the University Registration Website and complete the registration form online. Additionally, they must print out the OOU PUTME Screening Pass at least one week before the Screening date.

2023/2024 PUTME Proposed Examination Dates:

- Wednesday, October 11th, 2023 (Venue and Time to be indicated on the Screening Pass, Main Campus, Ago-Iwoye).

- Thursday, October 12th, 2023 (Venue and Time to be indicated on the Screening Pass, Main Campus, Ago-Iwoye).

- Friday, October 13th, 2023 (Venue and Time to be indicated on the Screening Pass, Main Campus, Ago-Iwoye).

The Post-UTME will be conducted using Computer Based Tests (CBTs). Candidates are advised to regularly check the University website for further information on the Screening.
